“Communication?” is a work that focuses  on the artist’s interest in the translation of sound and emotions into visual outcomes, and the misunderstandings that this kind of process produce.
After she collected quite a few statements about the definition of communication from  previous researches, Alessandra decided to use them as directions to create a video piece. First she transcribed all the answers given to the question “what is communication?”, grouping them according to their similarities and then she produced a visual representation for each one of them.

This video is the correspondent visual representation of all the main answers collected previously, and, in addition to others’ descriptions, the artist added her personal point of view about it.
Although it is a work of translation, it is not meant to be understood, in fact it actually aims at the creation of miscommunication itself.
